Map data and licences

The iLende map is built from open data from the national mapping agencies of Norway, Sweden, Finland, Iceland and Switzerland, from OpenStreetMap and from the Copernicus programme. Here is each source, what it gives the map, and the licence it is published under.

Parts of the map, including buildings, borders, huts and, outside Norway, trails, roads and addresses, are © OpenStreetMap contributors and available under the Open Database License (ODbL) 1.0. We make the OpenStreetMap-derived data in iLende's map files available under ODbL 1.0 on request to support@squarewave.no.

Processing

The map is compiled from these sources and processed by Square Wave AS: the data is transformed, generalised, clipped and drawn in iLende's own map style. None of the sources endorses or stands behind iLende.
